Re-roof permit checklist — Eugene, Oregon
Assembled from Eugene’s own published permit rules. Every line below is quoted from a city document and linked to it. Nothing here is generated, estimated, or inferred from another jurisdiction.
Do you need a permit?
Eugene does not require a permit for a re-roof.
For one- and two-family dwellings, a building permit is not needed to re-roof as long as the work stays within 30 percent of the roof’s required live load design capacity and the roof does not have to be fire resistive.
