Re-roof permit checklist — Grand Prairie, Texas
Assembled from Grand Prairie’s own published permit rules. Every line below is quoted from a city document and linked to it. Nothing here is generated, estimated, or inferred from another jurisdiction.
Do you need a permit?
Grand Prairie requires a permit for a re-roof.
Grand Prairie lists roof replacements and roof repairs as permit-required residential work and publishes a dedicated residential roof repair permit fee, so unlike many Texas cities there is no published small-area repair exemption. Commercial re-roofing is separately priced.
