Do you need a permit?
Kaysville requires a permit for a shed.
The Building Permits page requires a permit for detached garages, sheds and similar structures which measure in excess of 200 square feet, and for any electrical or plumbing installed in a structure of any size. Accessory building placement and height are governed by Kaysville City Code 17-31-2, which the city illustrates in its Accessory Buildings Guide with a 45 degree height plane measured from the property line.
