SECTION 401 PLANT MIX SURFACING 401.01 DESCRIPTION This work is producing, furnishing, placing, and compacting plant mix asphalt pavement. Plant mix pavement is 1 or more courses of plant mixed aggregate, hydrated lime, chemical additive if used, and bituminous material, placed and compacted on a prepared foundation.
