Install pipe, pipe tees , couplers and elbows according to Section 300. 19
310-4 Side Drain Pipe 20
Define “side d rain pipe ” as storm drain pipe running parallel to the roadway to include pipe in 21 medians, outside ditches, driveways and under shoulder berm gutter along outside shoulders 22 greater than 4 f eet wide. 23 Where shown in the plans, side drain pipe may be Class II, III, IV, or V reinforced concrete 24 pipe, aluminized corrugated steel pipe, galvanized corrugated steel pipe, corrugated aluminum 25 alloy pipe, polypropylene pipe, HDPE pipe or PVC pipe. Use of plain , galvanized, 26 aluminized or other coated c orrugated steel pipe is restricted in the counties listed in Article 27
