Do you need a permit?
Ontario requires a permit for a re-roof.
Ontario does not publish a local reroof area exemption in its Building Permit FAQ, so the CBC/CRC 105.2 model applies and any reroof beyond minor repair requires a permit. Because the city has tightened other 105.2 thresholds, confirm with the Building Department at 909-395-2023 before relying on a repair-only exemption.
