Colorado Springs requires a permit for a re-roof.
Roofing repairs of less than 100 square feet are exempt from permit under Section 105.2.1, Item 14 of the 2023 Pikes Peak Regional Building Code. Any repair or replacement work over 100 square feet requires a permit, whether a licensed contractor or a homeowner is performing the work.
