Do you need a permit?
Colorado Springs does not require a permit for a shed.
One-story, detached accessory structures as defined by the International Residential Code that are not more than two hundred (200) square feet in floor area and are supported directly on grade are exempt from a building permit; floodplain permits may still be required. Detached accessory structures above that size require a building permit.
