Do you need a permit?
Omaha requires a permit for a re-roof.
Roof repairs involving less than two squares of roof shingles or shakes on the entire roof area are routine maintenance and do not require a building permit. Exempt work must still comply with the zoning ordinance and other pertinent ordinances, and separate plumbing, electrical and mechanical permits are required unless otherwise exempted.
