1909 ASSIGNMENT OF PAYMENTS The Department will not recognize assignments or orders executed by the Contractor that direct payments of money due to the Contractor under the Contract, unless the Surety’s consent is attached to the assignment or order by endorsement or other means, or the assignment or order is of an account defined in Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 336, Uniform Commercial Code. The Department may accept or reject orders or assignments, except in cases where acceptance is required by law.
