513.1DESCRIPTION

section describes the requirements for furnishing and placing portland cement concrete for bridges, culverts, and other cast-in-place reinforced concrete structures.
513.2MATERIALS

Provide concrete consisting of portland cement, water, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, and approved additives proportioned and mixed as specified or approved.
3 For the wearing surfaces of bridge decks, provide type 2, white-pigmented impervious
curing compound. Elsewhere, provide and use type 1, clear or translucent. 4 Fabricate stay-in-place forms that will be exposed in the finished structure, including
corrugated sheets spanning supports, closures, and accessories, from hot-dipped galvanized steel in accordance with ASTM Specification A 653Grade 50 with a minimum coating class of G165.
