502.3EQUIPMENT
1 Ensure hydraulic jacks used to stress tendons are equipped with either a pressure
gauge or a load cell for determining the jacking stress. Equip jacks with an accurate dial with a diameter of at least 6 in [150 mm] or a digital display. Calibrate as a unit with the cylinder extension in the position it will be in at final jacking force and in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
