3115.1SCOPE
Provide fly ash or coal ash for use in concrete and other applications .
3115.2REQUIREMENTS
Provide fly ash or coal ash from the certified source listed on the APL . Provide materials meeting the requirements of ASTM C618, Standard Specification for Coal Ash and Raw or Calcined Natural Pozzolan for Use in Concrete. Ensure the following standardized Certification Statement is included with delivery invoices: “(insert company name) certifies that the (insert material name) produced at (insert plant and location) conforms to 3115, “Fly Ash,” for Class (insert class) coal ash.”
3115.3SAMPLING AND TESTING
Provide samples for testing meeting the requirements of the Schedule for Materials Control .
