SECTION 808 — TRUCK MOUNTED ATTENUATOR 808.1 Description. This work consists of providing and maintaining truck mounted attenuators (TMA). 808.2 Materials. Not applicable. 808.3 Construction. A. Positioning the TMA: 1. Use the TMA in accordance with the DE MUTCD. 2. Position the TMA so the distance between the front bumper of the shadow vehicle and the closest point of the work area is in accordance with the manufacturer’s roll-ahead recommendations.
