1702 PERMITS, LICENSES, AND TAXES The Contractor shall obtain the licenses and permits required by State and Federal laws and regulations. The Contractor shall pay all charges, fees, and taxes, and give all notices necessary and I ncidental to the due and lawful prosecution of the Work. If requested by the Department, the Contractor shall provide the Engineer with evidence of compliance with the permit, license, notice, and tax requirements.
