1711 USE OF EXPLOSIVES If using explosives to complete the Work, the Contractor shall not endanger life, property, or new Project Work. The Contractor is responsible for property damage, personal injury, and death resulting from the use of explosives. The Contractor shall use explosives, securely store explosives, and mark explosive storage locations in accordance with applicable laws. If laws do not identify storage requirements, the Contractor shall store explosives at least 1,000 feet away from the Road or from places of human occupancy.
