1703 PATENTED DEVICES, MATERIALS, AND PROCESSES The Contract Unit Prices include the cost of all royalties and costs from patents, trademarks, and copyrights needed to complete the Work. If the Contractor employs any design, device, Material, or process covered by letters of patent or copyright, the Contractor shall indemnify and save harmless the Department and any political subdivision, department, or third-party affected from all claims for infringement by reason of its use.
