• ANSI/EIA/TIA requirements for Category 6 4-pair unshielded twisted pair cabling with stranded conductors and RJ45 connectors.
• Factory -assembled, pre- terminated patch cords with mechanical cable strain relief and protective boots and that are fully tested to Category 6 requirements.
Provide either a NEMA TS2 Type 1 Controller or an Advanced Transportation Controller (ATC), Management Information Bases (MIBs), and 4GB (minimum) USB drive with tether as specified in Section 952.2.
• Provide high resolution controller event logging conforming to Indiana Traffic Signal Hi Resolution Data Logger Enumerations . Allow log files to be retrievable by a remote connection or a local connection. Provide functionality to automatically back up the log files to USB flash drive or SD card. Retain l og files within the controller’s local memory for a minimum of 24 hours. Provide l og files in comma separated text (CSV) format containing the event timestamp, event code and event parameter on each line. If the log files are in a different format, the manufacturer must provide a translator tool which converts the log files to CSV format. The translator tool must be able to be run from the command line for files to be batch converted.
• Provide functionality to back up the controller database to universal serial bus [ USB] flash drive or secure digital [ SD] card after any programming change.
• Complete the Department’s “ Traffic Signal Unit IP Address Request Form” to request a block of Commonwealth specific internet protocol ( IP) addresses. Request a minimum of ten IP addresses per intersection and crossing. Coordinate with the Representative to determine if additional intersections and crossings within a corridor are expected to be connected to the Commonwealth network within the next three to five year timeframe. If there are multiple corridors (which are not interconnected) in a project, submit one IP address request form for each of the corridors.
• Provide a shelf -mounted controller unit that conforms to ATC 5201 v06.25 as published by AASHTO/ITE/NEMA. Display model, serial number, and program information on exterior in an easy to find location.
• Provide a minimum of 128 MB of dynamic random- access memory ( DRAM ) memory for application and operating system ( OS) program execution, a minimum of 64 MB of FLASH memory for storage of OS software and user applications, and a minimum of one gigabyte (1GB) of static random- access memory ( SRAM ) memory for non- volatile parameter storage.
• Provide a minimum of two USB 2.0 ports to be used for updating software, uploading or downloading configurations, or
