644.1DESCRIPTION—This work is the resetting of a temporary concrete barrier, structure mounted from

one construction area to another within the project limits. Temporary concrete barrier applies to bridge construction projects that extend continuously for a maximum of three construction seasons.

644.2MATERIAL—Section 643.2(b), Section 643.2(c), Section 643.2(e), and Section 643.2(f).

644.3CONSTRUCTION—Section 643.3

Reset barrier if the construction operations require a change in protection of traffic or as directed. Store or transport the barrier as required.

644.4MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT—

Adhesive anchor systems and bolt through anchors are incidental to the temporary concrete barrier, structure mounted, reset pay item. Labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals; all work involved in drilling holes, bonding anchors , and coring through concrete and/or reinforcement; and removal of barrier and subsequent repair of deck are included in contract unit price. Removal of unacceptable or failed field tested anchors, as well as all patching/repair of cracked/damaged concrete will be at the Contractor's expense with no additional cost to the Department. Delineation, waterborne markings, water blasting, and removal of contrasting paint are incidental.
